Current Issues in Financing for Inventors
Michael L. Schack is a well-qualified and experienced business, real estate, and litigation attorney, with over twenty years experience. Prior to the formation of Plager Schack, Mr. Schack served as General Counsel to a conglomerate of national leading companies in the industries of auctions of real estate and homesite sales for the last six years. Mr. Schack established more than 20 subdivision entities and completed a merger of the subsidiary entities into parent entities. Mr. Schack negotiated Loan Facilities Totaling in Excess of $200 Million and interacted with lenders on Loan Management as well as handled oversight of Regulatory Issues, including compliance with Interstate Land Sales Full Disclosure Act, Truth-In-Lending Act, RESPA, and other Federal and State requirements. While previously in private practice, Mr. Schack served as Judge Pro Tem in Orange County and Los Angeles Superior Courts. Mr. Schack is a graduate of the Southwestern University School of Law, and State University of Arts and Science, Potsdam, New York. In addition to being licensed to practice in California, he is also licensed in New York.
Registration starts at 7:00 P.M. and the seminar starts at 7:30 P.M. and lasts about 90 minutes. Refreshments are served in the lobby at 9:00 P.M. where you can network with other inventors.
Door fees are $10 for non-members and $5 for members. Parking is free.
Directions:From I-405—exit Fairview Rd. and drive south to Merrimac Way. Turn right and drive to Lot E (5th driveway on the right). Walk to the front of the Lewis Center (large brick building). The Science Lecture Hall is just across from the Lewis Center main entrance.
From I-55 southbound—exit right onto Fair Drive westbound. At third traffic light, make a right onto Fairview Road northbound, at Merrimac Street westbound make a left turn and go to Parking Lot E.
