Workshop: Developing a Trademark
Speaker: Mike McEntee
NEW LOCATION: URBAN WORKSHOP
On March 9 at 7:30 PM Inventors’ Forum will meet at Urban Workshop instead of the usual meeting at UCI Cove.
There will be an interactive workshop among the audience to create a trademark for Jim slaughter’s new product and then, if there is time, to develop a trademark for another inventor's product.
The discussion will be led by a patent attorney with 41 years experience.
He will show a technique for generating ideas for trademarks and evaluating the strength of the trademark and he will provide some of the theory of marketing, positioning, and some of the legalities that determine trademark issues.
This will be a very practical session.
If this format works, we believe that it will be more effective than the giving of lectures, alone, which has been the format for the 2nd Friday of each month in previous years.
Again, this is a change in location. We are not meeting at The Cove at UCI on March 9, we are meeting at Urban Workshop, address 365 Clinton St Unit A, Costa Mesa, CA 92626.
Inventors Forum holds 10 regular open lecture meetings (February through November)
FREE Meeting. Donations are gratefully accepted and help keep our organization running.
Yearly Membership is $50 per year, which allows you to attend our closed member assistance meetings. You can join at the door, if you like.
