NASA JPL Open House
Our thanks to James Kirk for passing along this announcement
JPL’s annual “Open House” now requires a ticket. Tickets are free for the event scheduled, June 4 and 5, 2016, 9-5pm. Tickets may be ordered at http://www.jpl.nasa.gov/events/special-events.php beginning April 25.
JPL is announcing a new approach to that one special weekend a year when we open our doors to the public and put on display all the ways we are exploring the solar system and beyond.
It's called “A Ticket to Explore JPL.” And to be a part of it, you MUST have a ticket. We're trying this new approach because the enormous public response to our traditional “come one, come all” “Open House,” has been – well - overwhelming. We're committed to providing a safe and enjoyable experience, so we're trying this experiment.
“A Ticket to Explore JPL” will take place the weekend of June 4th and 5th. Tickets are free but limited and they will be distributed on a first come, first served basis. The maximum number of tickets per requestor is five. And to enter JPL you must have your ticket in hand and with a matching ID if you are 18 or older. Tickets are not transferable.
Tickets will be available as of April 25 at 9 a.m. Pacific Daylight Time on this webpage.
Hope to see you at A Ticket to Explore JPL, but remember make sure you have a ticket.
Fly high and safe,
